I just wanted to share this piece with you. I did it in a QU class with Marilyn Belford. What I did was try and reproduce Macke's 'Three Girls and a Dog'using fabric, very similar to the class I am taking now with Pamela. You can see that I didn't pay much attention to values and the different shades that Macke used :) Hope I do better in this class.
This blog will be a journey through my quiltwork and some artwork and my life...sometimes the muse' is not active but I'll try I was a gourd artist until my hands gave out, now I thoroughly enjoy playing with fabric and paint. Enjoy most everything that nature has to offer. Family and friends are very important. I live in the beautiful Peace River Area of northeastern BC.

Rhoda, I'm with Pamela and like the color in this one better, but you did such a good job with the shapes, fabric choices and layout. I hope it's hanging on your wall.
Yes, it does hang on the wall periodically :)
Looks like a very interesting class. You have a very lovely work. Something to be proud of.
My goodness I like this Rhoda!
I think it is my all time fav of your work!
