This blog will be a journey through my quiltwork and some artwork and my life...sometimes the muse' is not active but I'll try I was a gourd artist until my hands gave out, now I thoroughly enjoy playing with fabric and paint. Enjoy most everything that nature has to offer. Family and friends are very important. I live in the beautiful Peace River Area of northeastern BC.

Fast Friday Challenge
I have just finished my first FFC. The topic was Architecture.
I used a pic of a home, similiar to what Bill was raised in, in Saskatchewan.
It's a bit dark overall, what can I say, a storm must be coming in.
It was a stretch for me and it worked our fairly well.
I look forward to the next challenge. What a learning curve!

I loved your piece...the darkness suited it...I think the roof is great...did you paint the house sides or is that fabric?
Ann, the house is muslin. Lot's of stitching and some Shiva Paint Sticks. The roof is a zig zag stitch.
Thanks so much for having a look
