This blog will be a journey through my quiltwork and some artwork and my life...sometimes the muse' is not active but I'll try I was a gourd artist until my hands gave out, now I thoroughly enjoy playing with fabric and paint. Enjoy most everything that nature has to offer. Family and friends are very important. I live in the beautiful Peace River Area of northeastern BC.

Fiber & Stitch Challenge #2
I finished my piece today. I used a piece of fabric that I had sun dyed and made a journal cover. I didn't do a lot of embellishing as I wanted to keep the beautiful sunprints visible...I wish Fall wasn't here I love the effect of the sun print fabric.
The front cover is blue the back orange/yellow.

i Rhoda - Just saw your post on F& S so popped over to have a look at your cover. It is lovely and you are right - the sunprint is so beautiful you wouldn't want to cover it up! I like your blog and the little house on the quilt is incredible!

Thanks for your comments. Love the sunprints, glad you didn't cover the detail. They look so natural. I believe you can sunprint in the oven or under an Ott light.
We are coming into the Australian summer, so I guess us Aussie girls should have a go.LOL
