Easy Street Step #2 and Snow

Very happy that I finished Step #2 today of Bonnie Hunter's new mystery quilt. 128 little flying geese units done. I don't have the rulers that Bonnie used in her directions, therefore I did the quick method for flying geese from the Quilter's Cache site. I had to fool around a bit with the size but in the end it went very fast.
Here are the little beauties, my purple is orange :)
Here is step #1 and Step #2.  I am amassing quite a few little units .

To see how others are progressing with the mystery visit Bonnie's LinkUp you will find it here:
  http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2012/12/mystery-monday-link-up-part-2.html,

It is a perfect weekend to be tucked in with the sewing machine. We have been getting heavy snow for four or five days now. I went downtown earlier and the traffic was moving very slow, lots of snow piling up everywhere. I heard on the radio that it is -30C  with the windchill today...brrr.
Here is the view from my front door...the poor trees are quite weighted down.  Hope you are having a great weekend!
And here is my grand daughter shovelling off the deck, she is running out of room to pile the snow.

We have powdery snow here too -- for much of the past 3 days, gentle but steady accumulations.

That orange looks great with your b&w background fabric!

Oh how I miss the snow! Today in Queensland it was 39 deg Centigrade - FAR too hot!

It looks so cold, cold, cold where you are. And your bright oranges look like they'll turn into a warm and wonderful quilt!
