Fiber & Stitch Challenge #2

I finished my piece today. I used a piece of fabric that I had sun dyed and made a journal cover. I didn't do a lot of embellishing as I wanted to keep the beautiful sunprints visible...I wish Fall wasn't here I love the effect of the sun print fabric.
The front cover is blue the back orange/yellow.

i Rhoda - Just saw your post on F& S so popped over to have a look at your cover. It is lovely and you are right - the sunprint is so beautiful you wouldn't want to cover it up! I like your blog and the little house on the quilt is incredible!

Dear Rhoda,
Thanks for your comments. Love the sunprints, glad you didn't cover the detail. They look so natural. I believe you can sunprint in the oven or under an Ott light.
We are coming into the Australian summer, so I guess us Aussie girls should have a go.LOL
